Program
The ability to immerse oneself in here for a short moment in order to test artistic ability under the influence of Bali, this is the goal of this two week course. Nature and detail studies offer stimuli for a continuation to abstraction and reduction. We will deal with topics such as the complementary interaction of colours, lines, rhythms and structures, both in relation to nature and free transposition. Various techniques such as watercolour, chalk, acrylic and pigments, will be applied.
The four idyllic bamboo houses, which are characteristic of Bali, are located among the paddy fields near Ubud. Each of them two storeyed, they provide single-rooms that are connected with a stairway, showers (hot and cold water), cooking facilities, and either a terrace or a balcony. The grounds are run by a Balinesian family of painters.
A very beautiful studio stands the group to disposal.
